Attention Amateur Radio Operators: Special Event July 1-2, July 15-16, August 12-13: Railroad Mobile Stations

On three weekends this summer, the Wayne County Amateur Radio Club will operate Railroad Mobile Stations on the Stourbridge Line Excursion from Honesdale, Pa to Lacawaxen, Pa. commemorating The Stourbridge Lion, the first steam railroad locomotive to operate in the U.S. with the special event call sign

July 1-2 – Special Event Amateur Radio Station callsign K3L & special QSL cards

Operating two stations aboard the Stourbridge RR excursion line, and stations in Honesdale and Hawley

July 15-16  Special Event Amateur Radio Station callsign K3L & special QSL cards

Operating two stations aboard the Stourbridge RR excursion line, and stations in Honesdale and Hawley

Aug 12-13 – Operating as W3ARO w/special QSL cards
