On Tuesday, dissenting theologians and other scholars are planning a major attack on Catholic teaching at a United Nations event.
This is all leading up to the 50th anniversary of Humanae Vitae in 2018. For Catholics who have witnessed the dissent for the past five decades, the arguments are as tattered and worn as bellbottom pants.
So why are many of these dissidents still teaching at Catholic colleges? It’s long past time that colleges clean up their theology departments.
